For me, photography started when I was a teen documenting family, friends and events. I photographed everyone and everything!
With Photoshop and Lightroom decades away, I was intrigued by the manual development process that brought my photos to life. It wasn't long before I took a job working in a darkroom for a local newspaper. I rolled, developed and printed film for the journalists. One day, I was approached by the editor to photograph city events, so I would set out with my Pentax K2 loaded up with Kodak Tri X film. I was humbled by the people I met and I enjoyed the events they were part of. It was clear early on that photography would be embedded in my DNA.
Over time, I developed an ethereal style from the peace and tranquility of dawns first light.
As a landscape photographer, it’s within the solitude of nature that I find my inspiration.
